Comment:                                            What a Long Strange Trip it's Been

After graduating SMN I entered the Navy in July of 1969 and was discharged in July of 1973. Attempted to go to school after the Navy but the problem was I majored in partying and didn’t do so well and was on a 22 year party causing a lot of problems in my life going to JCCC for 5 year full time and not graduating and a marriage that lasted 18 months and too many jobs not panning out. Then in 1989 I enter a treatment program and turned my life around. I went back to school and a got a degree in Elementary Education and Drug Counseling. In 1993 I did an Internship in Washing DC returned and started my Teaching career. I first taught at Juvenile Detention Center and then taught at Della Lamb teaching 4th grade. I then worked at various treatment centers and started doing a before and after school program where I became a chess coach/Instructor. Which what I am currently doing. I met my Wife Ruth in 1994 and after a short engagement (7 Years) we were married in 2002 and are still together.

I already have my plane reservations for the reunion.  It's so much fun to read what everyone has written.  I have been married for 35 years.  We have been living in New Jersey for the past 20 years and I have 2 kids.  For the past 11 years, I have been teaching reading to children and adults with Dyslexia.
Okay-here is some crazy information.  My mom married  Linda Fears' dad in the mid 70's, and so Joanne, Linda, and I are step-sisters.  Pretty neat, right?
