Comment: I graduated from the University of Kansas and spent over 35 years doing aircraft maintenance and engineering in the airline industry.  I have been based in Missouri, New York, California, Washington and Saudi Arabia, plus a few other forgetable locations.  I have had residences North of the river in Kansas City for 30 years but was not home half the time. I am married to Nora (from New York) and we have one daughter Rae who has graduated from college and works in advertising.   I am now retired unless I am doing contract work which I am finding tends to interfer with being retired. Life has been happy,  busy, adventurous, successful and good.

Comment: How can we be nearing our 50th high school reunion? However you feel about the relentless march of time, it is here. We are having fun reconnecting with many fellow students as we plan. Join us! This will be a meaningful, memorable event you won't want to miss.

Comment: This brings back lots of memories, both sad and happy.  I married my high school and college love, Bob Hites (class of 67) and we had a wonderful 16 years together, doing so many things .  Bob died in 1986.  We have a great son, Jamie, who lives in Milwaukee and married a wonderful woman, Kathy.  I have a 2 year old grandson, Benjamin Lawrence Hites, who is so much fun to be with.  Bob & I had a GM dealership in Paola, Ks with his parents and I also had a gift shop and did decorating.  We also started a civic theater.  After Bob died, I built a house and moved to Overland Park and Jamie went to SMS.  In 1990, God brought a wonderful man from Minnesota into our lives.  We met on an airplane and he passed Jamie's and my family's approval, so it was time for me to let love back into my heart.  We married in Nov. of 1990.  Since Larry is in the newspaper publishing world, we were transferred to Ohio, where we have been since 1993.  We've met great friends and gotten involved with our church.  We share our home with a little poodle named Maddie and a Persian cat named George.  We lead a very peaceful  and enjoyable life and treasure every moment we have together.  We love doing home projects and just being together.  I'm not sure we will make it to KC for the reunion since we were there in October for my Mom's 80th birthday and most trips are to Milwaukee to be with Jamie, Kathy and Ben.  I'd love to connect with any of you.  Does anyone know how to reach Hanna Kirk Newman or Suzanna Garrett?  Enjoy the weekend.
