I have been a tribal warlord in Mogodishoe for the past twenty years.  Since Obama has become President I have fled to Toronto Canada.  If everyone would send me a dollar I could purchase a fake passport and come to the reunion.  I have six wives and twelve children but I don't remember there names because they are on the high seas making friends with bigggg boats.  This is a great endeavor you are doing and hope to see you all. I graduated from the University of Kansas and spent over 35 years doing aircraft maintenance and engineering in the airline industry.  I have been based in Missouri, New York, California, Washington and Saudi Arabia, plus a few other forgetable locations.  I have had residences North of the river in Kansas City for 30 years but was not home half the time. I am married to Nora (from New York) and we have one daughter Rae who has graduated from college and works in advertising.   I am now retired unless I am doing contract work which I am finding tends to interfer with being retired. Life has been happy,  busy, adventurous, successful and good.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone! It has been so much fun getting together with many of "the girls" and working together to plan this 40th reunion. We are working hard to find many "missing Indians" so please help us get the word out to as many as possible.

This brings back lots of memories, both sad and happy.  I married my high school and college love, Bob Hites (class of 67) and we had a wonderful 16 years together, doing so many things .  Bob died in 1986.  We have a great son, Jamie, who lives in Milwaukee and married a wonderful woman, Kathy.  I have a 2 year old grandson, Benjamin Lawrence Hites, who is so much fun to be with.  Bob & I had a GM dealership in Paola, Ks with his parents and I also had a gift shop and did decorating.  We also started a civic theater.  After Bob died, I built a house and moved to Overland Park and Jamie went to SMS.  In 1990, God brought a wonderful man from Minnesota into our lives.  We met on an airplane and he passed Jamie's and my family's approval, so it was time for me to let love back into my heart.  We married in Nov. of 1990.  Since Larry is in the newspaper publishing world, we were transferred to Ohio, where we have been since 1993.  We've met great friends and gotten involved with our church.  We share our home with a little poodle named Maddie and a Persian cat named George.  We lead a very peaceful  and enjoyable life and treasure every moment we have together.  We love doing home projects and just being together.  I'm not sure we will make it to KC for the reunion since we were there in October for my Mom's 80th birthday and most trips are to Milwaukee to be with Jamie, Kathy and Ben.  I'd love to connect with any of you.  Does anyone know how to reach Hanna Kirk Newman or Suzanna Garrett?  Enjoy the weekend. Great website.  It's fun to check back and see what new names (and photos) have been added.

How come Sherry Harvey looks the same but I look like her Dad?

Our 40th reunion at the Summerlin's in 2009 was such fun and our joint 60th birthday party at Lucky Brew Grill in Mission in 2011 was another great time to reconnect.  I'm enjoying keeping up with many of the SMN crew (who still live in KC) via email, so please send me your email address if you would like to be added to our "group" distribution list.  We get together for dinner once every few months and it's always a fun walk back in time!

LIke Gloria Steinem, I don't mate well in captivity. But I had a relationship with Matt Kinkead after we hooked up at the 20th reunion till his death in 2003. Last year I was successfully treated for stage II breast cancer--couldn't have gone through it without my significant other, Jack Klinknett, an attorney in Lawrence, KS. I'm back in the classroom, teaching English at UMKC. Hope to attend with our old drama teacher Roma Drevets! Send Pat a MessageSend Pat a Message

I graduated from the University of Kansas in 1973, married my college sweetheart, Hank Jarrett, and we have been married for 36 years. I taught school for a couple of years and then changed my focus to Human Resources.  I have my professional certification in Human Resources and work as a Human Resources Generalist for CooperVision, the second largest contact lens manufacturer in the world. Hank is an aerospace engineer .He retired from NASA and then went back to work for them as a government contractor. We live in Virginia Beach, Virginia with our Irish Setter, and our African Grey Parrot.
I will not be attending the reunion but it is nice to know what everyone else has been doing.  I know the reunion will be fun.

I have great memories of my high school years at SMN.  Although I moved away and have been back only a few times, the KC area is still "home" to me.  I have traveled nearly every continent, with the exception of Antarctica and Australia, but still plan on visiting each soon.  My world travels have included both business and pleasure and the friendships I've made abroad and locally will always remain warm memories in my heart.  I continue to run my worldwide business.  My husband  and I enjoy my son, Joshua Sharp, his wife, Kayla, a Jacksonville Jaguars NFL cheerleader "2008 Rookie of the Year" and their daughter, Skyler, age 2.  I am Co-Founder of The Skyler Mackenzie Sharp Foundation, a not for profit organization serving families and friends of individuals with Down Syndrome. Our purpose is to provide educational opportunities and resources for families, while promoting awareness, acceptance, inclusion, and advancement for individuals with Down Syndrome.  My husband, Tony, and I love living on the east coast...The Golden Isles of Georgia...Sea Island, St. Simon's Island, Jeckyll Island, and the Port City of Brunswick.  We play golf whenever we can and love the sunny, warmer weather of living in the Southeastern US.  We wish each and every classmate of SMN Class of '69 great success today and in the future.  Thank you for your friendships over the years.
